Some fine surface scratches with a rich patina consistent with age, soldering and hand-forged marks. Piece has only been lightly polished to avoid damaging the patina. Rich blue turquoise has natural striations, light webbing, black pits, clear mineral spots, and a natural irregular shape. It has been treated with what appears to be resin to seal the striations. Stone is similar to Kingman or Morenci, with extraordinary color and quality. Origin could not be verified. Silver work a finely crafted shadow box setting with minimal accent etchings. Big and bold, with an incredibly flattering fit. Size is a technical 5.5 but fit is closer to 5 in light of the elongated shape.
